Dille resigns as Front Office Coach!

Dilshad has officially resigned as the coach of Front office after loosing all the 02 matches as the manager. Dille (as know to many) was widely critisized for poor performance front office has shown in this tournament.

Dille stated he that his resignation was due to some personal problems but reports indicate influence from key players lead to the resignation. Dille also stated that he was not given full right over the team selection. It is beleived that Dille is already in contact with few other teams for the post for the next season.

After Dilles departure Mr. Zahir (Zagalo) will take over the team as the head coach. Zahir was one of the leading player in the early days of his carrier.

Housekeeping defeats F&B comfortably.

Housekeeping defeated F&B team in 3 stright sets to book their place in the second round. Strikes from Rada, Musthana, & Abulho crushed F&B team comfortably. The defeat was F&Bs first ever loss of the tournament.

Housekeeping started all three sets strongly and left no room for F&B to come back into the game. Gangua was awarded the man of the match for his excellent role that lead to their win.

Can Housekeeping stop F&B?

F & B will face their real test when they meet Housekeeping on Thursday. F & B team confidence is boosted by their successful wins over Transportation and Front Office also the return of their popular coach Bosa. On the other hand Housekeeping know that they should win this match to guarantee their place in the second round. Housekeeping won their opening match with front office in straight 03 sets. They are hoping to repeat the same score line when they face their arch rival F&B.

Housekeeping produced the best performance so far this tournament but, knows that they are up against a much better team this time. Team coach Boo and manager Dhammika believes their team is well prepared and are ready to stop F&B.

F& B Team defeats Transportation!

F&B secured their place in the second round by defeating well organized transportation. Today's match was by far the best match ever played in the tournament so far. Boat section almost thought they got the first set when they reached 24 points while F&B was trailing at 14 points. However, powerful serves from Backay proved too much for the boat section team and F& B went on to win the set 28 -26.

Transportation won the second set and F & B came back from behind to win the 03rd set. Transportation won the forth to level the gave 02 set each and match went to a tie-break. F & B started the 05th set strongly and went to win the set 15 -12. The win makes them the first team to reach the second round.

Transportation team played the entire match without any single change due to lack of reserve players. It was rumored that boat section team suffered mentally as there were not enough players with 10 minutes to begin the match.

Front office looses again

Front office lost their second match in a row after failing to impress against powerful housekeeping team. Although the result does not guarantee their departure it is almost certain that they have failed to perform up to the expectations.

Housekeeping team came to the match confidently and started the match strongly. Unstopable powerful spikes from Musthana & Hassan made the difference. From the start to the end match was dominated by Housekeeping.

The result did no good for the start studded front office team. Before the tournament began it was rumored that front office team will win the tournament however the performance on the field proved less than satisfactory.

F& B will play the rest of the tounament without captain Naseem

F & B team lost their team captain due to enjury caused during the opening game against front officed played earlier today. Naseem dislocated his shoulder during the match and was sent to Male immediately for treatment. After the examinations Naseem is now admitted in ADK Hospital.

A ccording to the resports Naseem will miss the rest of the tournament and is expected to stay out of the game for another 6 months. Having played for the Maldivian National team for 3 years Naseem is regarded as one of the best Volley ball players in the country and of course in this resort.

F & B team will play the rest of the gams without their skipper but, they have proved that they can win without their captain after their comfortbale win over Front Office earlier today.

Front Office looses thier first Match

Front office team lost their first match of the tournament to F&B Team in stright 3 sets. F&B played very well in all thress sets. Powerful spikes from Fuadde, & Shah killed the match easily. Front office team could not do much to stop the powerful shots from the team in form F&B.

The result leaves the front office team with a big task. They should win the match against Housekeeping tomorrow to stay in the competition. It is a must win match for front office in order to stay in the competition.

After loosing the match to F&B Simad (captain of FO) said it was a big shock and a surprise for the team. Simad also said he is confident they can beat housekeeping team comfortably.
