F&B secured their place in the second round by defeating well organized transportation. Today's match was by far the best match ever played in the tournament so far. Boat section almost thought they got the first set when they reached 24 points while F&B was trailing at 14 points. However, powerful serves from Backay proved too much for the boat section team and F& B went on to win the set 28 -26.Transportation won the second set and F & B came back from behind to win the 03rd set. Transportation won the forth to level the gave 02 set each and match went to a tie-break. F & B started the 05th set strongly and went to win the set 15 -12. The win makes them the first team to reach the second round.
Transportation team played the entire match without any single change due to lack of reserve players. It was rumored that boat section team suffered mentally as there were not enough players with 10 minutes to begin the match.
